Yifan Xu
Hi! It’s Yifan. I’m currently a Ph.D. student in Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Notre Dame, advised by Prof. Danny Z. Chen. My research focuses on Biomedical Imaging.
Before joining Notre Dame, I received my Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Information Management at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where I worked under the guidance of Prof. James M. Rehg and Prof. Haohan Wang. My research journey began during my undergraduate studies at ShanghaiTech University, where I earned a B.Eng. in Computer Science. There, I had the opportunity to work in the AMNR Lab with Prof. Song Liu.
Besides, I’m keen on rowing and was a member of the university rowing team. Our team won the third prize in the 2022 Head of Shanghai River Regatta.
