Yifan Xu

Hi! It’s Yifan. I’m currently a graduate student working towards my Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Information Management at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. My research interests include Vision Language Model, LLM agents, Prompt optimization and 3D Reconstrcution.

I am currently engaged in research on Coginitive VLM and Large Language Model Agents under the guidance of Prof. James M. Rehg and Prof. Haohan Wang at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. My research journey began during my undergraduate studies at ShanghaiTech University, where I earned a B.Eng. in Computer Science. There, I had the opportunity to work on Microscopic 3D Reconstruction in the AMNR Lab with Prof. Song Liu.

Besides, I’m keen on rowing and was a member of the university rowing team. Our team won the third prize in the 2022 Head of Shanghai River Regatta.
